To much freedom too soon for this Cocker Spaniel

Nala is 7 months old and has definitely been given too much freedom. Having the luxury of a field at work Tom has allowed Nala to exercise on her own from a young age. With any working dogs free hunting is a no no, but more so for a Spaniels.

What does free hunting create! Firstly a desire to hunt far, deafness to commands, chasing game, run off, lack of bond and potential a dangerous situation on a shoot.

Working with Tom and Nala I know that together we can achieve a great working dog and reestablish the bond they need to work together.
