Cold Game Training With Willow

I had a great lesson with Willow, a stunning black Labrador and her owner, Julie. I have been working with Willow for some time. Julie’s husband goes shooting and has an old faithful Labrador that works with him. He has always been skeptical about Willow’s ability to make it as a gundog.

In this lesson I introduced cold game training. While Willow was hesitant at first, she quickly got used to the game and was happy to retrieve. It has certainly given Julie a few bragging rights over her husband.

This is a dog I would love to own. She works beautifully for me. The commitment and hard work of her owner shows every time we have a lesson.
