Lockdown 2 Training Update

So here we are again. These are challenging times for us all as we enter lockdown 2. The wellbeing of my clients and your dogs is of the upmost concern to me. I will be adhering to Government guidelines while still delivering the dog training services that you need. This update will hopefully reassure and inform you about Tessleymoor activities over the next four weeks.

Training As Usual

If you are booked in for a one-to-one lesson with me, all training is continuing as normal. I am also continuing to take bookings for future dates. I am fortunate to work outside in optimal conditions for health and wellbeing. Going outside for exercise is being actively encouraged and unlike the last lockdown, there is no limit on the time you are permitted to spend outside. Meeting with one other person from another household is permitted and a distance can easily be maintained between us. Please do not attend your lesson if you feel unwell and cancel as soon as you are able to.

Virtual Dog Training

This service, created in response to the first lockdown, has proved incredibly popular. My virtual dog training packages are in huge demand. They are perfect for owners with new puppies and for dogs with behavioural problems. They are also becoming very popular with gundog owners wanting to continue to train their dogs, when travelling longer distances to train is not an option.

Residential Training

I am continuing to take dogs for residential training. Again, drop off and pick up can be done without close contact. I always keep my kennels spotless – while your dog may not be affected by this virus, this protects their general health. I am also ensuring that I have plentiful supplies of dog food, should delivery be disrupted.

Keep Walking Your Dog

Remember, while our movement is restricted, dogs should not be isolated or confined. Get out with your dog as you would do normally. If you think you may have to self-isolate, put a contingency plan in place to make sure your dog is exercised twice a day.

It seems advice is changing daily and as always, I will keep my website and social media updated with any changes to my services. Let’s do all we can to stay well, get out of lockdown 2 and get on with our lives.
