Challenging Training With An Australian Kelpie

It’s always good to train unusual breeds. The Australian Kelpie is a true working dog, bred to herd livestock all day. Of course, if you are choosing this breed as family dog, you are going to have to keep it busy.

The owners’ of Yoshi started his training with me in September when he was 12 weeks. This dog is full of energy, bred to range and roam and he also loves to chew. His training has been a challenge and we’ve had good and bad lessons. However, last weekend we saw a massive improvement. The owners’ dedication to getting the best out of their dog will result in Yoshi being a great family companion for them.
