More new additions to the Tessleymoor Sheep Flock
Last week I took delivery of a small flock of Hexham Blackface Mule crosses from a farm down south. These shearlings are being tupped with Whisky my Coloured Ryeland Tup and I’m hoping he’ll produce some strong healthy lambs. Crossing breeds is always a gamble and one that isn’t done that often in the farming community. I’m looking forward to watching the Tessleymoor sheep flock grow.
Farm Security
As my farm grows, I’ve invested in a full security system. This covers the land and the buildings and will keep all my livestock safe. Their welfare is my top priority and with a rise in thefts from farms and also the risk of dog attacks, this new system means I can keep an eye on them round the clock.
