Group Gundog Training with Tessleymoor Gundog Club, Preston, Lancashire.

Today saw yet another great day for group gundog training, a little mixed with the weather but non of the biting winds and sleet we experienced 2 weeks ago.

It’s rewarding to see the club membership growing and with a good mix of people who wish to train for the shooting field, field trials, working tests or just to mentally/physically stimulate their dogs.

Today’s new puppy recruit Ozzy certainly demonstrated what he’s achieved since attending my dog obedience training classes at the age of 12 weeks.  Ozzy has since attended a 1-2-1 lesson but today was his shining moment.

Overhaul the day was a great success, we even throw in a few cold game retrieves with pigeon thanks to Scott our member who’d shot them yesterday.

I’m looking forward to seeing the progress and work achieved next time we all meet.
