The Benefits Of Virtual Dog Training
We’re now in the middle of lockdown 2 and my virtual dog training is more popular than ever. This service that I introduced in response to the first lockdown back in the spring has provided a lifeline for new dog owners, those struggling with their dog’s behaviour and those wanting to continue training but affected by travel restrictions.
A great example of the success of these lessons is with a client who approached me having never owned a dog before. They were getting a Cocker Spaniel puppy, have a young family and wanted to do things right from the off. Their pre-puppy lesson set them up for success. Following my instructions, Storm travelled really well to his new home. However, the first couple of nights, the pup didn’t settle and was constantly toileting over his sleeping area.
In this situation, many new dog owners would move the puppy into the room with them to settle them. They may consult the internet and get many different recommendations on how to deal with the problem. Instead, these new owners called me, all part of my puppy training package and followed by advice. As a result, Storm is now settled and clean through the night. They have provided me with updates on the puppy’s progress so we can be ready with priorities to address for the next lesson.
If you’d like to discuss how my virtual dog training can work for you, just give me a call.
