Day 5 of Harley the Springer Spaniel Residential Training – Part 2

Following on from part 1, Harley is seen here working off lead after 5 days of residential gundog training. The initial first few days focussed on lead training with retrievals to ensure a positive success. You can see from the video Harley is enthusiastic and keen to please. Mistakes are made but it’s important to find a positive from a negative. With time and consistency she’ll certainly please her 13 year old owner in the shooting field.
We need to remember Harley was purchased 5 days ago with my advise, she run around, lacked basic obedience/focus and played with the retrieve. But I know she will be a great working companion, I wish I’d purchased her myself.
