Straight talking!

dog training with consistency

With any training we can backward as well as forward in our journey to achieve that well trained dog. No matter what you see or hear, it’s my belief we never have that perfect dog. Ever dog has their quirkinesses, that’s what  gives them character. Just like humans, if we were all the same life would be boring. When I stress dog training consistency, it’s not looking for perfection, it’s looking to bring out the very best in your dog – whatever the breed and temperament.

It’s important to ensure you follow the advice I give. Clients that follow The Tessleymoor Way training philosophy achieve more dog training consistency and therefore quicker results. Today’s lesson was an example of what happens when you don’t listen and decide to deviate from the training programme. Dexter’s lesson three weeks ago was abysmal, he didn’t listen, his steadiness and focus towards his owner was weak. So after a serious telling off Sandra went away committed to achieving. Today’s lesson was a huge success, his focus on commands was 100%, he trained well around my dogs and proved that with daily consistency, positive results can be achieved.
