Fingers Crossed for a good Scanning Result

It’s that time of the year again where we pray for a great result from sheep scanning of my ewes.

Today Meg from What_The_Flock visited my farm in my second year of scanning to scan my ewes. As it’s only my second year of farming and scanning I was hoping for a positive result. Last year I scanned too late so lambing was a huge gamble as whilst I scanned all I knew was how many were in lamb. So I never knew if a ewe had finished or was still lambing. Thank fully this year I learnt from my mistakes.

Today’s scanning result was 179% which I’m happy with. Although the 7 triplets worrying, so I’ll need to be on the ball if I need to foster onto a single.

Lambing season will commence around the 1st April, like a fool.
