Highland Cattle arrive on my new North Yorkshire farm

I’m so exited to welcome 4 heifer Highland cattle to my new farm.

Highland cattle are fantastic for managing the North Yorkshire Moors’ rugged terrain. Their hardiness and ability to thrive on rough grazing make them perfect for the moorland environment. Plus, their role in conservation grazing helps maintain the natural landscape and biodiversity, keeping the moors healthy and sustainable.

Native breeds like Highland cattle are great for grazing rough pastures, and their gentle nature and striking appearance with those long horns and shaggy coats make them a favourite for many.

It’s amazing how my dream has become a reality. Owning Highland cattle feels surreal.
