My Girl loves our New Yorkshire Farm

It’s been a week since I moved on to the new farm in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

Me and Skye my sheepdog have been busy over that time establishing where we can and can’t place livestock, When buying a new farm it’s always difficult establishing what fields are safe.

The North Yorkshire Moors are known for their dramatic landscapes, including heather moorlands, rolling hills, valleys, and forests. The terrain and climate may affect the type of farming you can pursue, with the high moorland areas often being best suited for sheep or cattle grazing.

Starting a new farm in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park offers a unique opportunity, one I’m looking forward to.
