New lambs arrive on the farm

Today I started lambing with the arrival of a set of twins. Unfortunately, next lambing was triplets, with the ewe struggling I quickly intervened. The first and third was dead, second I managed to revive but unfortunately she didn’t survive despite all my efforts.

Spring time is that period where many people see fluffy white lambs running around the lush green fields. What many don’t realise is the huge losses we suffer during lambing.
