Nala Goes Home

You may remember I blogged about the Nala the GSP who has been in residential training with me. Her owner’s came to pick her up today and we had a really successful handover.

Nala is not going to be a working dog but the owners need her to be very well behaved. They want her to be calm around other dogs and livestock. Throughout her stay, I have shared videos with the owners of her progress and what she is now capable of. I always send an email pre-collection to explain exactly what is required in terms of consistency of training when the dog returns home. Without this consistency, the progress will quickly be lost.

Nala is now back home in Wales and I am looking forward to hearing of her progress as I continue to support the owners.
