My Islay’s brother Snipe attends his first puppy gundog training lesson.

It was an exciting lesson today when I met Snipe, Islay’s brother for his first gundog training assessment lesson with Tim. Having purchased my puppy from my good friend and client Rob, when Tim asked for help to find a new dog I instantly told him about the last puppy available. At first Tim was adamant he wanted an older part trained dog. I immediately reminded Tim of Jet the Sprocker he’d previously purchased as an older dog who had many faults which eventually meant he’d never make a working dog. Thankfully Tim thought hard and decided to purchase Snipe, although he couldn’t collect until 12 weeks of age.

Tim is appreciative of all my previous help and for today’s lesson. He already has a stronger bond with Snipe than he ever had with Jet. He looks forward to his training journey ahead with his new found best friend.
