Remembering My Princess
Today would have been my Megan’s 12th birthday. Unfortunately, February 1st 2018 I had to make the difficult decision to put her to sleep.
Megan was the most amazing dog I’ve ever owned, the bond we had was inseparable and together we achieved so much. We knew how each other felt. That’s why two weeks before I had to make that hard decision I knew she was dying. Despite how ill she’d become she worked with me until two days before I put her to sleep.
Whilst important to never compare our dogs to the past, she will always have that special place in my heart. Every day I train I see her face on the side of my Land Rover as the silhouette of her head is part of my sign writing.
