New Recruits For The Tessleymoor Way

I’ve had plenty of new recruits this week. In one day I trained with three new clients, all with young dogs.

Puppy Training

I always say it’s a challenge to get two dogs from the same litter as their bond is already strong. My client has two golden Cocker Spaniels, a brother and sister just 14 weeks old. He is an experienced dog owner and wants to work these two as peg dogs. He is already experiencing problems with them, particularly in the home. We will be doing some virtual puppy training lessons so I can see the home set up and find the best ways to introduce consistency into their training.

Bailey is a six month old Springer Spaniel. He has come late to the Tessleymoor Way and it shows. He is taking over and pushing boundaries with his owner. Again, consistency of puppy training will be key in getting Bailey to be a well-behaved dog.

Bertie is a super cute Fox Red Labrador puppy. Bought as a family dog, the owners are finding it is a challenge to have a puppy and two young children. When the mum takes them all out on a walk, the dog is pulling one way and the kids are running another. This is a perfect example of why you need a very well behaved dog if you have young children. Your family needs all your focus so you must be able to trust your dog.

All of these dogs can become great companions for their owners. By following the Tessleymoor Way, taking the training step by step, they will see a transformation in their dogs’ behaviour over a short period of time.
