Tali at 15 Weeks

My Springer Spaniel puppy is growing so fast. I only feed my dogs Bob and Lush and have found that what you put into your dogs, you get out. Their puppy food is just what Tali needs to gain weight and stay alert and happy.

Consistency is key with puppy training. Of course she wants to go out and explore but with a word from me, she comes back to my side with a good sit, wait. If we don’t create problems for our puppies, they won’t occur. I was speaking to a potential client who was saying they couldn’t understand why their dog was jumping onto the furniture. They said that they had never encouraged that behaviour. I pointed out that they lifted their dog onto their lap while sitting on the furniture and on the floor. The dog translates this as the sofa being a place they can sit.

Don’t set your dog up to fail and you will never need to train them out of bad behaviours. Laying good foundations creates a contented, well-behaved dog.
