Tali at Six Months

Now at just over six months old, Tali my young Springer Spaniel is working on the stop whistle. For this I use this sit whistle command, which is now well established through games and training. I am incorporating the sit whistle on retrieves, so throwing out multiple retrieves, stopping her and then directing her to retrieve a selected dummy.

She is well on the way to achieving this but still needs refining. Only when she consistently sits down on the whistle will this move from a grey areas to a yes. She works so well for me because of the bond we have established, which was built not bribed or bought.
