Tessleymoor Gundog Club, Gundog Training and Photography Event with Andy Biggar.
I want to thank everyone who attended the Tessleymoor Gundog Club training and photography event yesterday. I invited my good friend, and professional photographer, Andy Biggar to attend to take action photos of the dogs in training. Andy Biggar is a very talented, and internationally recognised, photographer and provides the photographic work for all my websites.
Yesterday’s event saw members of my Gundog Club traveling from miles to attend what was a great event. The day started with some basic training to work on steadiness before we got into the swing of the training with an great mix of retrieves, dummy launcher, cold game, quartering and some good banter.
These events allow members to see how other handlers and dogs are working, pick up tips and ideas and to give me the opportunity to work on areas of their training that can only be corrected whilst in a group.
Gundog Training can be an isolating experience, but as a member of the Tessleymoor Gundog Club it allows you to experience various group training opportunities including simulated shoot experiences which are vital for a steady working companion.
I will be running another Gundog Training and Photography event in July. Places are limited so if you’re interested please email or call me for more details.
