Tessleymoor Road Trip

Last week myself, Jade and our dogs took a Tessleymoor road trip as we travelled to Scotland to a beautiful location called Eskdalemuir, near Langholm in the Scottish Borders. We stayed at Billholm House, set in its own grounds surrounded by the Dumfries hills and the river Esk. The journey was just over two and half hours and one that was more enjoyable than travelling south. Given the option we’d always travel north, the roads are quieter and Scotland is amazing. It’s our dream to eventually live in Scotland and enjoy the tranquil life we experience every time we visit. For someone like myself it’s full of opportunities to work and enjoy the shooting the country has to offer. But for the moment it’ll have to be a dream to aspire to.

Whilst in Scotland for the three days it gave us the opportunity to re-evaluate where the business is going and have time to train our own dogs in some amazing countryside. I work seven days a week, 365 days a year and sometimes it’s good to have time to reflect.
