Update On Buster The Family Dog

dog training with disabled children

It was great to see Buster the Belgian Malinois again for training. He has been previously in residence with me. I have blogged about his dominant and controlling behaviour, which was at the time making unsuitable as a family dog. Added to this, the owner thought he was getting a German Shepherd. Things have certainly not been plain sailing for them.

Buster is a great example of what dedication to training can achieve. Through a combination of 1-2-1 sessions and a residential stay, Buster is now a trusted family dog. It was lovely to see him with the youngest member of the family Gabriel – AKA Baby G – totally calm and relaxed. The commitment the whole family have made to training has given them the dog they deserve.
