Virtual Dog Training Programmes
I am seeing a huge rise in enquiries for my virtual dog training programmes. The darker nights meanpeople are spending more time indoors with their dogs. This coupled with the continued trend to work from home means there are some very under-stimulated dogs in people’s homes. This results is at best bad behaviour; at worst it can lead to serious aggression problems.
Virtual Training For Aggressive Dogs
I have spoken to someone recently who’s dog is so aggressive, they are considering having it destroyed. In a virtual lesson this week, I observed a Lurcher jumping all over the furniture and hitting the owner on the head with toys. Many people working from home let the dog roam the house, including access to the bedrooms, for a quiet life. The problem is, this is a very short-term view. Very quickly, the dog that has access to all areas will start to dominate the household. They will resource guard and become aggressive.
It’s always better to avoid these situations by instilling good behaviour from the start. Exercise for your dog is important but so is training. Structured activity with your dog tires them out far more than a walk in the park.
If your dog has behavioural problems, a virtual lesson means I can see your dog in the home environment and quickly make recommendations to get you back on track. To find out more about my virtual dog training programmes, just give me a call.
